Tim Tiger Fitness

Training

Strength and functional training

Strength that carries over to life: lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing. We build it around the big lifts and then make it useful with carries, jumps and bodyweight skills. At your gym, or at home with what you have.

This is for you if

  • You are starting strength training for the first time
  • You are over 40 and want to stay strong, mobile and injury-free
  • You play a sport and need a strength base

What we do in a session

  • A warm-up that doubles as mobility work
  • One main lift: squat, deadlift, press or pull
  • Extra work on your weak points
  • A finisher: carries, jumps or a circuit

Questions people ask me

How many sessions a week do I need?
Two with me and one on your own works for most people. One a week is fine if the rest of your week is active.
I have no equipment at home. Can we still train?
Yes. We can use bodyweight and whatever you have at home. I bring only the pads. If weights would help, I can suggest a few to buy and a mat. If you want to lift heavy, we meet at a gym near you.
